If you read this blog, and don't at least know one song about NGC, you're highly misinformed. These are my dudes! M-Dizz, Slapz, and DJ Bonecrusher have finally come to you with their highly anticipated mixtape: SKOOL BOI CHRONIKLES VOL. 1: CLASS IS IN SESSION. I repeat: SKOOL BOI CHRONIKLES VOL. 1: CLASS IS IN SESSION!
The mixtape constantly comes with heat. To me, some mixtapes have dull moments where you can skip over the tracks, but SKOOL BOI CHRONIKLES VOL. 1: CLASS IS IN SESSION never will put you to sleep. Every beat pops on the mixtape, drawing your attention to the track at hand. DJ Bonecrusher, also known as @SteveHarvin, gets you hype for the track with his wrangling of the mixtape. Slapz and Dizz's flows and lyrics are both refreshing and smooth.
To produce a work on this caliber, actively be part of Michigan State University (even though I go to the University of Michigan, I got love for MSU, until game time rolls around, ha ha), among other extra-curricular activities, you HAVE to respect the Nitty Gritty Committee (And don't EVER forget they hail from the GREAT Cass Technical High School, YASSSS).
Recently, my boys had a mixtape release party at the Venue near Michigan State in East Lansing, and they tore it DOWN. Video is coming soon with that, as well as an INTERVIEW with the men of NGC themselves. So stay tuned people.
